Ambassadors Cup party at the Ritz Club

In the opulent setting of the Amber Room in The Ritz Club, in London’s Piccadilly, the Federation of International Polo Ambassadors held their prestigious 90th Cocktail Party, hosted by FIP President Nicholas Colquhoun-Denvers, to herald in The 90th Ambassadors Cup, with the finals at Ham Polo Club, of which Nicholas Conquhoun-Denvers is Chairman.
Members of the teams competing in the tournament, together with their wives and partners, chatted over the forthcoming matches with Champagne and Ritz gourmet canapés, served by Ritz Club waiters and waitresses under the watchful eye of Ritz Club Director David Herbert.  Deputy Chairman of The Ritz and Polo supporter, Andrew Love joined in the festivities.  Ritz pianist Ian Gomes played lilting melodies to enhance the enjoyment.
Nicholas Colquhoun-Denvers presented the Captains of each of the competing teams, Ham, Cowdray Park, Roehampton, Rugby, Billingbear and Ranelagh, with their match shirts.
