Stagshead Trophy

The highlight in Sunday's programme was the Stagshead Trophy between HPA Blue and HPA Red. The Stagshead Trophy has been in HPC's fixture list since 1988 and was donated by club Chairman Nicholas Colquhoun-Denvers. In the 90's the trophy became a part of the HPA's development programme for future England players and since then has always featured two teams of Young England stars.

Sunday's match was another display of the fantastic talent coming through the ranks in British Polo. In the match the HPA Blue team were the stronger side putting in a strong performance, they lead the Red team for most of the match. Both teams were packed with talent though with several players showing they will be top players in the future.
