This Halloween, Ham Polo Club comes alive after dark.

There are very few places where you can be just ten minutes from Richmond Station and, moments later, find yourself at the end of a long lane, surrounded by 23 acres of open ground, with nothing but darkness beyond the Clubhouse.

For one night only, Ham takes on a rather different character.

As the sun disappears, the Clubhouse becomes the setting for a Halloween party for those who intend to do it properly. The bar will be pouring wickedly good themed cocktails, food will be available throughout the evening, and a DJ will keep the Clubhouse moving late into the night. Expect extraordinary costumes, big groups, late-night energy and just enough Halloween chaos to make the familiar feel completely unfamiliar.

Costumes are not an afterthought. Full costume is strongly encouraged. This is the evening to abandon subtlety, gather your friends and arrive dressed to impress or scare. The more theatrical, glamorous, strange or spectacular, the better.

A Clubhouse with a century of stories behind it, glowing in the middle of acres of darkness, has a certain atmosphere once night falls. By the time you have made your way down the lane and stepped inside, you may have forgotten entirely that Richmond is only minutes away.
